LEONA EUBANKS OLIVER, 79
Leona E. Oliver passed away May 17, 2018 at Miller County Hospital, Colquitt, GA of an extended illness. Born in Putnam Hall, FL to the late Rev. Richard and Alice Eubanks, she was a lifelong resident of Putnam Hall, FL. She met and married the late Philip Oliver Sr. on June 24, 1957. She retired as a bus driver for Putnam County School Board. She leaves a legacy of love and compassion to her loving children, Sandra Pelham, Melrose, FL, Philip Oliver (Sabrina), Palatka, FL, Jamey Oliver, Putnam Hall, FL and Stacy Oliver (Felesiah), Interlachen, FL; her devoted grandchildren, Gregory Pelham, Jr., Brittany Pelham, Cindy Oliver, Brandon Pelham (Sonya), Jeremy Oliver, Dominique Oliver, Shelisa Oliver, Darius Oliver, Moriah Loyal, Stacy Oliver, Jr., Saniyah Oliver, and Serena Oliver; 10 great-grandchildren; devoted sister, Katherine Lewis of Putnam Hall, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Home Going Celebration Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Abilene Missionary Baptist Church, 187 Putnam Loop Road, Putnam Hall, FL, Rev. Frankie L. McClendon is Pastor, Rev. Emanuel Oliver is Eulogist. Burial will be in Abilene Cemetery. Viewing Friday at Pinkney-Smith Funeral Home, 21400 SE Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne, FL 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturday at the church 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. No viewing after eulogy.
