Alveta Lucean Caldwell Leviston was born on July 13, 1928, the youngest of nine children, to Shaderack Caldwell and Minnie Clark Caldwell. At an early age. she dedicated her life to God and was a longtime devoted member of the Church of God by Faith in Hawthorne, Florida. She joyfully served in the church choir, on various committees. and the Mother's Board. This was evidenced by the pleasure she received while worshipping at many local, district, and national church assemblies.
Alveta grew up in Hawthorne and graduated from Shell High School in 1947. She spent many years shaping young lives through her work at Hawthorne's Day Care and later by participating in the Foster Grandparent program at Shell Elementary.
On April 25. 2026. she entered into eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith as she was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior.
Alveta was preceded in death by husband.Michael Leviston Sr., siblings, Aleather Caldwell, Johnny Caldwell, Lewis Caldwell, Madison Caldwell, Edna Barry, Lillie Mae Mincey, Vivian Harris, and Sallie Caldwell.
She is survived by her devoted
daughter, Geraldine Leviston (Andre) of Ocala, FL; loving sons, Nathaniel Leviston of Miami, FL; Daniel (Rena) Leviston of Warner Robins. GA: Raymond (Yvette) Leviston of Honolulu, HI: Michael Leviston of Orlando, FL; and granddaughter she raised, LaNeshia Hudson of Orlando, FL. Her legacy includes 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren. along with numerous
great-great-grandchildren,nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who cherish her memory.
