April Shontia Scott was born on July 10, 1988 to the union of Willie Scott Sr. of Waldo, FL and Patricia Cook of Hawthorne, FL. She received her formal education at Eastside High School, Gainesville FL. She was employed at Solo Panel and The Cheese Cake Factory. In her leisure time she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
April Shontia Scott departed this life on April 8, 2024 at Palative Care, Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary (Buck) Scott. April is survived by her parents, Willie Scott, Sr. and Patricia Cook; brothers, Willie Scott Jr. (Tamara), Robert Turner Jr. (Patricia), Steven Scott, Marryce Cook, Darrell Scott; sisters, Cynthia Scott, Sandoshia Scott, Katisha Scott; grandmother, Dorothy Glasper; special friends, Rhonda Hayes, Ashley Flintroyal, Danessa Brown (Rocky); and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
