Bryan P. Aiken (“Bump”) was born on March 29, 1976
in Gainesville, FL and was raised in Waldo, FL. He’s a
graduate of Eastside High School, Class of 1995. He later
became a Security Guard where he worked for many years
serving Alachua and surrounding counties. He was a
former member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church
and years later became a member of New Life Word
Tabernacle. Bryan was a diehard Gator Fan: win, lose or
draw. He enjoyed grilling in his spare time.
He’s preceded in death by his stepfather, Marshall Aiken;
paternal and maternal grandparents.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Mary Wilson-Aiken
and father, John Henry Taylor; four children, Brynique,
Diamonique, Isaiah and Bryan E. Aiken; four grandchildren,
Cameron, Brylan, Kylin and Laylani McGraw; six siblings,
Latesha Williams, LaSonja and LaTonja Aiken, Joselyn
Benton, Jonette Taylor and Jermaine Taylor; special uncle,
Eugene Wilson, Jr; special aunt, Mary Ann Hill-Rich;
Godmother, Chanita Ross; God-sister, Nakia Robinson;
and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.
