Obituary

Caleb R Greene, affectionately known as “Midget, Twigg, Elevated Level and perhaps even The Real-Life Kyrie Irving of Putnam Hall,” or to his wife Tessi, he was King and she was Queen, was the second born child of four children, to the union of Kenya & Lawrence Greene on August 16, 1987 in the Bronx, at Our Lady Mercy Hospital.
In 1993, Kenya and her 4 children relocated to Putnam Hall Fl. to live with her God-fearing parents Mack & Jane Kelly. It was in this environment that Caleb learned sound moral principles of family, love, hard work and most of all, a relationship with God.
Caleb made the best of his time in Putnam Hall! During these formative years, Caleb excelled in all areas; in his education, in all sports, (particularly basketball), in his love of music, and in his innate ability to master any skill associated with maintaining, repairing and fixing the house. He first attended Melrose Elementary School, CH Price Middle School, then Interlachen High School, and finally graduated from Palatka High School. He pursued his higher education at Santa Fe Community College and First Coast Technical School where he studied welding.
If you came by the Kelly house, you would probably find Caleb doing flips on the trampoline or maybe even off the roof, or playing basketball. He was very outgoing and always loved to have the house filled with his closest friends and made sure he offered them food and drink (snacks). Caleb had a divine nature to bring people together. He inspired and pushed those around him to believe in themselves and to strive for greatness. He had a way of connecting to people and developing unique bonds that could never be broken.
At a young age, Caleb attended First Assembly of God Church in Keystone Heights, Fl where he joined the “Royal Rangers.” He there learned critical life skills and outdoor survival, and also met the love of his life, Tessi Cooper. After losing touch with each other for nearly 5 years, Caleb and Tessi rekindled their friendship and officially became a couple. They were married on 11/9/16 and started their life as husband and wife in Putnam Hall. Through the thick and the thin, they both remained committed to their love and their family!
Caleb continued to learn and to grow; to better himself as a man, and to strive to accomplish the goals he set for his life. He and his wife wrote several plays and Caleb continued to pursue his music, even currently was working on finally getting that mixed tape finished. He secured a job at Wills Roofing LLC., and had hopes of completing a degree in welding. Caleb never stopped pushing, believing, aspiring himself, and those around him, to be great.
On February 14, 2021, Caleb departed this realm of existence and transitioned into his eternal rest.
