Life’s Journey
Carlese Lynette Kimble, age 60 of Lake Butler, FL went to her heavenly home on September 21, 2022. She was surrounded by her precious family, which was one of her last wishes to be with whom she loved during her final moments before receiving her Angelic Wings.
Born on September 24,1961 in Lake Butler, FL to her late parents, Sammy Kimble and Mary Francis Jefferson. Carlese was a lifelong resident of Union County and a longtime member of St. James A.M.E. Church. She later became a member of Aisles of Faith Church in Raiford, FL. She was very passionate about her Lord and Savior. Therefore, listening to her Bible daily, not allowing her circumstances to separate her from spending time with God. Early on as a teenager, Carlese realized her hands were gifted as an artist, drawing and styling both her sisters’ hair, to later having a Salon in her kitchen. She braided the most difficult styles in women hair; even those who suffered from hair loss. She prepared delicious meals for friends and family. She was well known for her exquisite cooking skills which includes her famous Crab Boils.
One of her favorites was watching mukbangs on You Tube, creating famous crab sauces inspired by famous You Tubers like Beloved, Dame Dash & Eat with E.
Carlese attended Union County High School and decided to continue her education at JJC. Carlese enjoyed a long career at Tacachale as a Human Service Worker. Making great friendships with her clients and sharing that transparent, but authentic genuine love that made everyone who came in contact with her, love her very much.
Carlese was preceded in death by her parents, Sammy Kimble and Mary Jefferson Bristow; stepfather, Eugene Joseph Bristow; sisters, Beverly Kimble and Sandy Kimble; brother, Kevin Kimble; and maternal grandparents, Thomas and Annie Jefferson; She was family oriented and had a special bond with every family member. Carlese was a true treasure. Her family remembers how she impacted their life in one way or another. Her memory and legacy will be carried on by loved ones she leaves behind.
She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Shay Jackson, Felecia Martin, Mathis Jackson (Alisa), Eric Vance, and Tajah Jackson, of Lake Butler, FL; grandchildren, Zelaia, Jeremiah, Nevaeh, Kaven, Terron, K’mari, Briah, Za’marian, Kiona, Ta’riyah, Cameron; nephew, Mackus Staten; special aunt, Sandra Louise Jefferson DeSue; special cousins, Jeffrey Andrews, Kammy Highland, of Lake Butler, FL; Godchildren, Vigginarro Walker, Lake City, FL and Jasmine White, Gainesville, FL; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
