Courtrell T. Reed, 13 of Pearson, GA, departed this life February 11, 2021. He attended Atkinson County Middle School in Pearson, GA and was a member of the basketball, football, track and field teams and band. He's survived by his mother, Taniekia Parker; birth parents, Courtney Reed, Nadoneccia Alexander; beloved grandparents, Shirley Alexander (Keith Harmon), David Forbes, Angela Solomon Fedell McIntosh; great grandmother, Maisie Forbes; Godparents, Kimberly Wilson and Steven Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Waldo Community Center Pavilion, 13550 NE 148 Avenue, Waldo, FL, Minister Atonya F. Freeney is Officiating. Burial will be in Waldo Cemetery. Viewing on Friday at Pinkney-Smith Funeral Home 727 NW 2nd Street, Gainesville, FL, 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.
The cortege will form 12:30 p.m. at the home of his aunt, Ms. Shirley Ford of Waldo. Please bring your lawn chairs MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING TO BE OBSERVED.
