Dale E. Holmes was born on February 20, 1951 to the late Jack Holmes and Lillie Mae Holmes. She was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Melrose, FL. She retired from Alachua County School Board where she worked for 34 years in Food Service.
Dale passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at North Florida Regional Medical Center, Gainesville, FL.
Dale leaves to mourn her passing, a devoted daughter, Angel A. Watson of Hawthorne, FL; a son, Freddie L. Watson, Jr. of Hawthorne, FL; 2 grandsons, James M. Brooks Jr. and Prince L. Gaines; 5 granddaughters, Toneshia L. Gaines, A'Nerria Manning, Peyton Watson, Indy Watson, Tiphani Watson; a devoted friend, Linda M. Watson; a special cousin, Carolyn Flowers; and a host of other family and friends.
