Debra comes from a loving and strong family tree with roots that run very deep; full of many branches which bloom in all seasons.
Debra Bass was born March 13, 1963 in Gainesville, FL.  She attended Hawthorne High School and was a member of Trinity United Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: Her Mother:Â Â Christine Young Livingston; Father: Robert Lee Baker; Maternal Grandparents: Wilbert Bynes Sr. and Annie Lee Bynes; Paternal Grandparents: Robert Baker and Margaret Baker; and Maternal Great Grandparents: Nathaniel Mann Sr. and Julia Mann, who raised her .
Debra leaves to cherish her memories:
Stepmother: Beverly Baker of Ocala, FL; Step Grandmother: Pherry Baker of Johnson, FL; and Siblings: Kimberly (Oscar) Goolsey of Tallahassee, FL , Gerard (Faith) Baker of Lithonia, GA, and Rodney Baker of Ocala, FL.  Debra had a multitude of relatives to include: Aunts, Great Aunts and a Great Great Aunt; Uncles, Great Uncles, and a Great Great Uncle; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews; as well as many bereaved friends and concerned neighbors.
Public Viewing will be held, Friday, October 2, 2020, 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at Pinkney-Smith Funeral Home 21400 SE Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne, FL. and an additional public viewing on Saturday, October 3, 2020, 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m. where the The Celebration of Life Service will be held, Little Orange Creek, 24115 S.E. Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne, FL. Please note that service will start at 1:00pm with The Dr. Reverend Michael Baker Sr, Officiant, of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Anthony, FL. Burial will be held at Gordon Chapel Cemetery, 103 Gordon Chapel Rd, Hawthorne, FL.
Family will line up at 12:30 p.m., at the residence of Sister Betty Franklin, 21418 SE 62nd Ave, Hawthorne FL
