He also leaves to mourn his sisters Zemillar Bessent-Hayes, Ellen Lock-Thomas & his Brother Willie James Lock (Melissa) , Stepsister: Phyllis Ann Ross; Stepbrothers:
Leroy J. Ross (Voncile), Chester Ross (Carolyn), Tommy Ross(Bridgett), and Jake Ross along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
Don Bessent was preceded in death by his father Larcellious Bessent; 3 sisters: Mary Louise Pinkney,
Loretta Bessent-Hines, Martha Ann Young; 3 brothers; David Angelo Lock, Sr., Curtis Bessent Sr. & Lloyd White:
