She retired from Veteran Administration Hospital with many years serving as a supervisor. She accepted Christ at an early age at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Hawthorne, FL. and served as an Usher for many years. In her passion for ushering, her request was to be buried in an Usher Board Uniform.
Dorease “Nanny” was loved by all and did not meet any strangers. She enjoyed Baking, caring for our flowers and taking care of others. Her favorite thing was to have family gatherings. Her presence will never be fulfilled and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
