Gainesville - Easter Mae Thomas, daughter of the late Leon Thomas Sr. and Eloise Thomas, peacefully surrendered to the will of God on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Shands UF, Gainesville, FL. Ms. Thomas is survived by 2 daughters, Carla D. Neal (Samuel)of Archer, FL and Sheila Williams of Orlando, FL; granddaughter, Darnisia Greenwood and great granddaughter, Marlie Sapp, both of Orlando, FL; a sister, Jency Thomas, Orange Park, FL; 2 brothers, Leon Thomas Jr. (Ethel), Cocoa Beach, FL and Paul Thomas of San Antonio, TX; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Congregational Holiness Church, 2079 State Road 16 West, Green Cove Springs, FL, Pastor Ronnie Surrency, with her son-in law Pastor Samuel Neal III, Officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Viewing on Friday at PINKNEY-SMITH FUNERAL HOME 21400 SE Hawthorne Road, Hawthorne, FL, 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at the church 30 minutes prior to service. No viewing after eulogy.
