Obituary for Gregory Alan Mott
Gregory affectionately known as Greg peacefully passed away November 23, 2024, in his home. Greg was born on April 25, 1965, to Shirley A. Mott and Elbert Mott.
For many years Greg was a carpet layer in Gainesville, Florida. He often traveled to other states to lay carpet in new construction. He found joy in fixing things and watching it work good as new! He loved to be surrounded by family and doing anything he could do to help someone else.
To know Greg was to know that he was a talker everywhere he went. He never met a stranger but always met a new friend. He will be missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley A. Mott, Father Elbert Mott.
Survivors: sister Theresa Mott, brother Mark Mott, nieces: Markesha Pinkney, Cindy Sallet, Christina Herman Nephews: Anthony Little John and Chauncey Pinkney. Along with several great nieces and nephews.
