James Alvin DeSue, 63
James Alvin DeSue was born June 19, 1956, to the union of Clarence Sr. and Naomi DeSue, in Starke, FL. They both preceded him in death. He attended and graduated from Bradford County High School in 1974. He retired from Florida Department of Corrections and attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Starke, FL and other churches in Lake Butler. Affectionately known as "Hightower" in the Lake Butler area, he enjoyed grilling meats for the community and neighborhood, a gift passed on to him by his father. James A. DeSue transitioned from this life November 15, 2019. Survived by his devoted wife of 30 years together, Sandra Jefferson, Lake Butler, FL; devoted daughter, Celena DeSue, and faithful son, Devin Jefferson, both of Lake Butler, FL; two grandson, Trestin and Christian Durant;a sister, Norma Robinson (Alphonso), Starke, FL; three brothers, Deacon Jerry Murphy (Annie), Florahome, FL, Rev. Clarence DeSue, Jr. (Fatha), Starke, FL and Arthur DeSue, Starke, FL; devoted uncle, Rev. Dr. Thomas DeSue (Lonnie), Jacksonville, FL; loving aunt, Margaret DeSue, Starke, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
