Gainesville - James Edward Jackson, 84, U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, passed away January 26, 2015. He was a member of Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Gainesville, FL. He's survived by his wife Deloris Jackson; children, Joseph and Yvonne Jackson, both of Durham, NC; stepdaughter, Vickie Taylor of Gainesville, FL; 7 siblings, Rosa Martin (Tommie), Wilbur Jackson, Gwendolyn Gipson (Floyd), Edgar Jackson (Melody), Diane Wicks (Clarence), Valerie Jackson and Clarence Jackson all of Gainesville, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
