Joey "Joe Bird" Middleton, a lifelong resident of Keystone Heights "Speedville Community" Florida, was born September 25, 1959, to the late Lois Harris and the late Joe Middleton.
Joey was a 1978 graduate of Bradford High School in Starke, Florida then served in the United States National Guard. He was also employed with the State of Florida, Department of Corrections.
Preceding Joey in death were his siblings; Sisters:
Harriet Gainey and LaTonya Rushing; Brother: Reggie Middleton. Stepfather: Randolph Harris Sr.
Joey leaves to cherish his memories; a loving son, Damion Middleton (Kenyetta), a loving daughter, Tonika Bright-Boulware (Kurston) Grandchildren: Rashad, Damaya, Kiersten and Kamryn. Sisters: Patsey White (Jackie), Janice Daniels, and Joanna McConnico.
Brothers: Larry Ford, Rickey Ellis, Michael Middleton, Curtis Harris and Randolph Harris Jr. Brother In Law:
Rickey Gainey. Former devoted wife and lifelong friend: Wanda Middleton. Special Friends: Sheree McMillian, Johnny Hutchinson. Special Nephew: Jarvis Johnson. Favorite Sister in Law: Maryanne Williams.
Nieces and Nephews: Sherree Wooden (Isaiah), Andrea White-Williams (Andrew), Kenneth Hampton, Nakia Bass, Lashaunda Mason (Alonzo), Ashley Middleton, JaBria Crumity, Shameka Ellis, Tiyana Ellis, Michael Middleton Jr, Brandon Middleton, Bacari Daniels, Terence Holmes, Elijah Thomas, Rickey Ellis Jr., and Rashard Ellis; a host of aunts, uncles, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, sorrowing friends and the entire Pittman Family.
