Obituary for Joseph Wesley Davis
Gainesville - Joseph Wesley Davis, passed away peacefully June 16, 2015. Mr. Davis is a 1971 graduate of Interlachen High School and member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church, Putnam Hall, FL. He served 22 years in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver for 19 years for Cypress Trucking Co., Jacksonville, FL. He leaves to cherish his memory: loving wife of 38 years, Barbara Davis, Gainesville, FL ; devoted step son, Lewis Scott; 2 grandchildren, Elijah and Lakayla Scott, all of Massachusetts; 3 sisters, Delores Tyson (Paul), Starke, FL, Minnie Richardson, Putnam Hall, FL and Mae Jordan (Lonnie), Gainesville, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.��
