Obituary for Juanita L Hutchinson
Juanita L Hutchinson was born October 4, 1934, in Merritt Island, FL to the late Bertha Slater Brown and James "Bill" Lawrence, Sr. She answered the call of God on December 15, 2023, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, FL. She's preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Nathaniel Brown and James Lawrence, Jr. and two sons, Oliver Hutchinson, Jr. and Wayne Hutchinson.
At an early age, she became a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church and served as Choir #1 President where she sang in the choir. Juanita attended and graduated from Shell High School in Hawthorne, FL. Afterward she dedicated many years and retired from Shands Teaching Hospital, Physical Plant Division.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Oliver Hutchinson, Sr.; one daughter, Cynthia Rollins; three sons, Clyde Hutchinson, Barry Hutchinson and Alonzo Hutchinson; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, one Goddaughter, Denise Franklin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
