Obituary for Lee Frances Eagle
OBITUARY
Lee Frances Eagle was called home to spend eternal life with our heavenly father on October 28, 2022. Lee was born on May 12, 1947 in Edgar, FL to the Late Leola Campbell and Archie Carey. She was a wonderful and caring mother. Lee was a CAN for over 25 years in Akron, OH and worked at the University of Florida until she retired in 2010.
Lee enjoyed the simple things in life and loved to spend time with her family. Lee took great pride and cherished her grandchildren Deserae, Arthur Jr., Porshia, Myia, Carolann, Terryle, and James. Great grandchildren, Carlos, Zayvion, Avion, Ka’Varri, Legend, and Allan Jr.; all of whom she always held in her heart.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents, and stepfather Jesse Campbell; husband, Gean Eagle Sr; sisters, Ann Carey, Shanda (Sharon) Carey; brothers, Jesse Jr, Richard and Johnny Campbell.
Lee leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Caroline Brown (Jeffery) and Charlotte Knight (Arthur Sr); adopted son, Jamel Nichols; sisters, Kathy Carey, Annie Mae Truesdale, Willie Mae Sims, Beulah Williams, Sarah Lee Futch, Zola Mae Perry; brothers, Henry James (Patricia) Campbell, Dennis Campbell, Willie Lee Sylvester; step children, Drucilla Henry (Charles), Juanita Taylor, Gean Eagle Jr (Carolyn), John Eagle (Michelle), Ja Toya Russell and Kalisha Eagle; God children, Lanesa Bristow and Lisa Thomas; special friends, Deacon Brown & Mrs. Brown, Clearwater, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
