OBITUARY
Mae B. Lee was born on February 18,1936 to the late Ernest and Ella Mae Brazil in Brooker, FL.
Mae B. was educated in the Alachua County School System and attended Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, FL. She worked as a seamstress for Belk Lindsey for 10 years and then the State of Florida, Tacachale, where she retired after 25 years of service. She loved her family, especially her children.
She's preceded in death by her daughter, Ella Christie Lee; son-in-law, William Duncan; grandsons, Michael Griffin and Wallace Clifton Lee Jr;; adopted brother, Eugene Wilson; and longtime friend, Doris Manning.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Vivian Duncan, Angerie Brazil, Bridgette Thomas-Spencer (Edward), Tonya Davis, all of Gainesville, FL and Thelma Solomon-Crowder (Conrad) of Atlanta, GA; sons, Wallace Lee Jr., (Brenda), Ernest Clark, Wallace Clifton Lee (Cynthia), all of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren, Shamika Griffin, Detrick Jackson, Brittany Clark, Kaisha Robins, Jaquaila Lee, N'Kwanda Brown, Jerome Mitchell Jr., Diamond Lee and Demarcus Lee; and a host of step-grands, and 3 great great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Cassie Wilson and Susie Lee; special care givers, Detra Anderson, Christie Holland and Kimberly Strickland; life long friend/cousin, Mary Gambrell Johnson; and many cousins, other family and friends.
