Obituary for Malcolm Xavier Cromarty
Malcolm Xavier Cromarty was born on October 17, 1992, in Gainesville, FL. He was the son of Sacoya Helena Everts and the late James Edward Cromarty, Jr.
Malcolm was raised by his grandmother, Elzada Cromarty, with the support of his aunt, Beverly, and the late Uncle Larry Smith.
Malcolm was the youngest of four siblings. He departed this life on June 30, 2023. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donte Bradley-Faulk.
Malcolm was a member of Monteocha New Life Christian Center. He was baptized on August 24, 1997, and served in the Ministry of Helps as a youth usher.
He was educated in the Alachua County School System and Santa Fe College. Malcolm worked various types of employment over the years. He recently completed classes through Florida State College for the Insurance Adjuster program. He was awaiting his license.
Malcolm was an avid FSU football fan. He was people oriented and left a lasting impact on those he met whether that impression was made by his extroverted personality or willingness to lend a helping hand in a time of need. He will be most remembered by family leaving a legacy of love; as our family has grown into a village through his circle of friends and acquaintances.
The most monumental event in Malcolm’s life was becoming a father to his beautiful daughter, Miracle. He was a “Girl Dad”, and she was a “Daddy’s Girl”. They had an inseparable bond.
Precious memories will be cherished forever in the hearts of his survivors: Daughter, Miracle Cromarty; Mother, Sacoya Everts, and Grandmothers, Elzada Cromarty and Tawana Mitchell; Siblings, Dominique Cromarty (Steve), Muhammad Cromarty (Salacey); Fiancée, Leandra Washington. He will also be missed by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Extended Family, and Special Friends.
