She was born to James Monroe Sr.(deceased) and Hettie Lou Ross on May 16, 1960.
Martha aka Ann loved the Lord and her family. She was an Evangelist of A Call to Repentance Outreach Ministry. Her home church was New Hope United Methodist Church where Reverend Herring was her pastor. She was a true servant and fulfilled many duties in the church. She spent her days trying to do God’s work and seeing how she can be a help to her family and community. She was a light to many who were going through darkness. She used her life experiences and challenges to be an example and guide to help others. She was always on the go, could never be still. She always used to say when God called her home she would be on the go, that death was not going to catch her just lying down. I guess she was right. She leaves behind her Mother Hettie Lou Ross; Step mother Ruby Monroe; Husband, Lee B. Scott; Children Tariro Wade, Jeremy Gordon and Tiffany Adkins; Siblings, Mary Lou Pinkney, Zemillar Bessent, Loretta Bessent-Hines. Ellen Lock-Thomas, Marilyn Monroe, Theretha English, Deborah English, Denise Watson, Jaconda Smith, Willie Lock, Curtis Bessent Sr, Don Bessent, Dennis Watson, Brother James Monroe Jr, Cordele Monroe, and David Smith; Grandchildren, Tavia Biles, Dave Biles, Jr, Tavion Bryant, Jayce Gordon, Toniyah Bryant and Julani Gordon; Great granddaughter Kenzie Biles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
