Obituary for Mary Francis Bristow
Lake Butler - Mary F. Bristow was born March 20, 1941 in Lake Butler, FL. She's a 1959 graduate of Consolidated High School, Lake Butler, FL. Mary retired after 35 years of service with the Suwannee River Economic Council serving as Executive Director. She served on numerous community boards and committees: Code Enforcement, Health Committee for Union County, Ship Board, and the Housing Authority Board. Mary was a member of Little Rock Church, Lake Butler, FL and served as Executive Secretary, Chairman of Missionary Board, Financial Committee, Choir, Stewardess and Secretary of United Sunday School. Mary peacefully passed away December 1, 2015 at home. Survived by 2 daughters, Carlese Kimble and Sandy Kimble, both of Lake Butler; six grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Ruby Wilkerson (Amos), Alachua, FL, Thelma Hall (Clyde), Gainesville, FL and Sandra Desue (James), Lake Butler, FL; a brother, Herbert Jefferson (Dorothy), Jacksonville, FL; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends. Home Going Celebration will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Union County High school Auditorium, Rev. Randolph Murray, Officiating. Burial will be in Little Rock Cemetery, Lake Butler, FL. Viewing on Friday at Little Rock Church, 5-7 p.m. and Saturday at 30 minutes before the service. No viewing after eulogy.��
