Mary Lois Madison also known as “Red”, 72 years old, of Sylvester, Georgia, passed away peacefully with her devoted daughter Christina Madison by her side on March 24 2026. Mary's parents were the late Arthur Lee Madison and Fannie Lee McDonald, the first born child out of seven. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend, church member, and choir member. Her specialty was cooking, feeding others, going to church, and fishing at Newmans Lake. Mary attended Gainesville High School where she had got her GED. Later, Mary worked at just about every cleaners in Gainesville, FL where she did the laundry presser very successfully and was well known in the community for pressing all types of clothes and items. Her favorite employment place is Crane Cleaners where her longtime friend Mrs. Evelyn was also her last supervisor. Mary is survived by her daughter and care giver, Christina Madison and grandchildren. Joined in heaven brother Willie James McDonald. Mary is truly blessed to have her siblings Dafford Madison (Cynthia), Diana Robinson (Darrell), Aundre McDonald, Arbia Rene Whidby (Terrell), and Marva Lovett. Her aunt Dorothy Jean Jones and Jimmy Lee Madison of Jessup GA. A special friend Joyce Kirkland, and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends she left behind to be with Jesus.
