Obituary for Morell Sylvester
Morell Sylvester was born March 28th, 1942 to the late Lillie Mae Nancy Sylvester and Roosevelt Augustus Sr. in Hawthorne, Fl. Mrs. Sylvester departed this life on July 21st, 2024 at Shands UF Hospital, Gainesville, FL.
Morell attended Central Academy High School. She was ordained in as the “Mother” of Higher Anointing World Ministries, Archer, FL. She has been a member of the church for 30 years.
Morell was preceded in death by her Son, Tonnie Sylvester Sr.; Sisters, Claudia Mae Sylvester, Doretha Sylvester, Arlene Sylvester, Renee Augustus, and Wanda Augustus. Brothers, Cornell Sylvester, Elmo Sylvester, Robert Sylvester, Roddy Augustus, and Roland Augustus.
Morell leaves to cherish her memory: 2 Daughters, Janice Campbell of Gainesville, Fl., Kizzy Kemp of Tampa, Fl., 1 Son, Roosevelt Sylvester of Gainesville, Fl., 12 Grandchildren, Jocelyn Sylvester, Tonnie Sylvester Jr., Heather Sylvester, Tiffany Campbell, Stephanie Campbell, Keeuna Campbell, Lillie Mae Campbell, Marcus Chatman, Olivia Kemp, Eric Thompson, Jamel Robinson, and Kenneth House, all of Gainesville, Fl.; 30 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Annie Mae Battles (Willie) and Zola Mae Perry, both of Johnson, Fl., 2 brothers, Jimmie Lee Sylvester and Willie Lee Sylvester, both of Johnson, FL.; Special friend, Pastor Douglas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and sorrowing friends.
