Alachua - Mother Myrthe L. Garrison passed away September 1, 2015. She was a homemaker and member of Banks Chapel Church Of God In Christ. Survived by one son, Bruce Lamar Garrison. 7 sisters, Betty Garrison, Lula Garrison, Flora Quaterman, Margaret Darling, Rudine Garrison, Donna Thomas, and Channie Johnson; 8 brothers, Ulysses Garrison, Willie Garrison, Andrew Garrison, Reginald Darling, Bobbie Garrison, Leonard Garrison, Otis Garrison, and Charles Darling; and other relatives. The Home Going Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2015 at The Female Protective Temple, Elder Charles J. Spidell is the Eulogist. The burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery, Alachua, FL. The viewing will be Friday at PINKNEY-SMITH FUNERAL HOME 727 NW 2nd St., Gainesville, FL from 2-7 p.m. and Saturday 30 minutes prior to the service. The cortege will form 10:00 a.m. on Saturday in Alachua, FL at the home of Ulysses "Rooster".
