Obituary
Mrs. Naomi Bessent McBride was born November 22, 1927 to the late London and Lillie Bessent in Edgar, Florida She attended Putnam County schools.
Naomi Bessent met and married her soulmate, Neander McBride. They moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
She joined the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale Florida. After her husband’s death, she later relocated back to Johnson, Florida in 2009. Upon her return, she joined the Trinity United Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Dr. Clarence Woods.
She was preceded in death by her parents, London and Lillie Bessent; husband, Neander McBride Sr.; daughter, Evelyn Strickland; son, Neander McBride, Jr.; sisters, Alice Lake, Fannie Williams, Ida Mae Thomas and Emma Lee Bessent; brothers Harry Bessent Sr., Charlie Bessent, and Larcellous Bessent.
On Friday, April 3, 2020, Sister Naomi McBride peacefully departed this life and went home to spend eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ
She leaves to cherish her loving memories:
