Obituary for Pastor Georgia Mae Edwards
Lake Butler - Peacefully entered eternal rest on March 3, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born in Fort White, FL to the late Freeman & Elsie White. She's survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Willie Edwards; sons, Woodrow & Gregory Edwards, Sr.; 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives & friends.
She was a retired bus driver, a Pastor, and most of all, a faithful servant of God. Ms. Joyce, as many knew her, will be greatly missed by family & friends.
Home Going Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. James A.M.E. Church, 700 SW 2nd Ave., Lake Butler, FL,Elder Abraham Perry is Pastor, Presiding Elder, Tony B. Hansberry, Officiating. Burial will be in Fort Call Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, 5 pm - 7 pm at St. James A.M.E. Church and Saturday 30 minutes prior to service. No viewing after eulogy.
