Obituary for Queen Esther Abner
Queen Esther Abner was born to the late Otto and Annie Maude Sommons on November 14, 1944. She was a native of Putnam County where she graduated from Central Academy in Palatka, FL. As an adult she relocated to Palm Beach County. She united in Holy Matrimony to Louie Abner Sr. Mrs. Abner was a homemaker and dedicated member of Redemptive Life Fellowship under the leadership of Bishop Harold and Brenda Ray. She departed this earthly life March 12, 2014. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in eternal rest by her brother Julius Sommons. She leaves to cherish her memories: A Loving Husband, Louie Abner Sr; four children, Louie Abner Jr., Patrick Abner (Yolanda), Laterese Abner, Jonathan Abner; three grandchildren, Shanicqua Ivey, Jalyn Abner, Delquan Abner; brothers and sisters, Estella Atkins, Rev. Nathan Sommons (Everlena), Cherriestine Flowers (Curtis), Ronnie Sommons (Collette), Gloria Mays (Bernard); Aunt, Zelma Watson; sister-in-laws, Lois Abner, Louise Mack; and a host of other relatives and caring friends.
