Born January 30th, 1953 to the late Delores F. Presha and Edward Samuel James. Passed on March 5th, 2021 at Florida Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Preceded in death by his late Wife: Zennie M. James, Mother: Delores F. Presha, Father: Edward Samuel James, Sister: Linda Gayle Smart, Brothers: Rodney L. Manning, Willie Carl Manning. Graduated from Hawthorne High School in 1971.
Served in the US Army, retired from The City of St. Pete as a Utilities Meter Reader, and resided in Fayetteville, NC.Leaves behind Children: Gwendolyn P. James, Delores A. James, Andre J. James, and Bessie E. Nelson. Grandchildren: Jared T. Hope Jr., Shuronna N. Hope, and Andre J. James Jr., Great-Grandchildren: Serenity, Willie, Tori, Sky, and Jaya; a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.Sisters and Brothers: Cynthia (Marvin) Cooper, Edwina Sheri (Earnest) Adams, Bruce (Angela) Manning, Michael Manning, Alexa Faye Manning, April Manning, Portia (Damian) Slaughter, Early (Rita) Manning, Delores Hayes, and the Mannings of Gainesville, Cocoa Beach, and surrounding areas.
Celebration Of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Little Orange Creek Nature Park 24115 SE Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne, FL. Burial will be in Gilgal Cemetery, Hawthorne, FL. Viewing on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Pinkney-Smith Funeral Home 21400 SE Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne, FL, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturday at LOCNP 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Family will meet at LOCNP 10:30 a.m. PINKNEY-SMITH FUNERAL HOME OF HAWTHORNE.
