Cherished Memories of
Robert Henry Carroll Ill
On January 22, 2022, heaven gained a new star and left those who loved him an angel. Robert
Henry Carroll Ill was called home to be with the Lord. Today we gather to honor and celebrate
his wonderful life.
Robert Henry Carroll Ill was born on January 20, 1994 to Robert Henry Carroll Jr. and Carolyn
Ann Glenn in Gainesville, Florida. The third eldest of five siblings. Robert was educated in the
Alachua County Public School System, and a 2012 graduate of Hawthorne High School. He later
attended Santa Fe College and completed several hours of study. He later began working for
Walmart Stores and became a Front-End Manager at both Gainesville, Florida and Augusta,
Georgia locations.
Robert accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Hawthorne, Florida and as
an adult rededicated his life to Christ and became a member of Gordon Chapel United
Methodist Church. He loved the Lord and attended church services and Bible Study
opportunities until his move to Augusta, Georgia.
Robert was an amazing person. He was the first one to offer his love and support to others. He
was a very talented artist and loved to draw and paint. There was never a time that you saw
him without a smile on his face and it surely lit up the room. He loved his family and always
wanted to make you laugh and have a good time.
Robert leaves to cherish fond memories with his parents: Robert Carroll Jr. and Carolyn Glenn;
his paternal grandmother Beulah Carroll (grandfather Robert Carroll Sr. preceded him in death)
his maternal grandparents Bonnie Lee and Vivian Glenn preceded him death; Siblings: Aerial,
Brittany, Reginald and Serena; Niece and Nephews: Adrial, Paisley and Jayson; God-Brothers
and Sister: Andrez, Charlie, Nick and Mya; Nine Aunts, Three Uncles, Two Great Aunts and a
host of relatives and friends.
It is impossible to articulate all that Robert meant to so many people. Robert was silly, fun,
genuine and so very loving, Everyone who encountered him loved him. The world lost a great young man, but we rejoice in knowing that we will see him again. Service is Private by Request of Family.
