Obituary for Mr. Ruben Howard
Mr. Ruben Howard was born to the late Sherman and Beatrice Burton Howard on April 12, 1929, in Quitman, GA. At the age of 12 he moved to Alachua, FL with his family. On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, God in his infinite wisdom call Mr. Ruben Howard home from labor to reward.
He was a hard worker and dedicated to providing for his family, He retired after 50 years of employment as a truck driver from John C. Hipp Construction Company in Alachua FL.
Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his loving wife of 27 years Mrs. Billie Jean Howard, a devoted son Cory Howard, two brothers Millard Howard and Calvin Howard, two sisters Laura Bell Allen and Rosa Lee Robinson.
His legacy will be forever cherished by his two sons Bruce (Carol) Howard of Gainesville and Glen (Vickie) Evans of Orlando FL; three daughters Nicole Robinson, Bernice (William) Felix both of Gainesville, FL and Karen (Pat) Fisher of Bell FL; his three brothers Albert Howard, Gainesville FL, Herman Howard (Shirley) Tampa, FL, Eugene Howard (Ella) Lakeland, FL; two sisters Vernell Keaton (Cal), Winter Haven, FL and Joanne Howard Williams (Russell) Gainesville, FL; along with 16 grandchildren, 39 Great-Grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; A very dear friend Ethel Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
