Obituary for Ruby Mae Pearson
Ruby Mae Pearson was born January 14, 1923 to the late Leroy Jones & Mary Hart, in Island Grove, FL. Ruby was a dedicated caregiver to several families in the Hawthorne community. She was a faithful member of Gilgal Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Oliver, where she served, until she took sick. Later in life, she married Dewey Pearson. Their union produced eleven children. Ruby was proceeded in death by her late husband, Dewey Pearson, her daughters Vera Mae Pearson, Christine DuBois (Napoleon Sr) and Lacie Spry, and grandchildren Gwendolyn, Reginald and Thomas Jr.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her children Frank Pearson and Betty Williams of Miami, FL; Mary Ivey (Clarence) of Hawthorne, FL; Gracie Walker (Elijah) of Warner Robins, GA; Bessie Pearson, Ulysses Pearson of Hawthorne, FL; Horrise Pearson (Brenda) of Atlanta, GA & Tony Pearson (Ellen) of Hawthorne, FL; One Son in Law Arthur Spry of Warner Robins, GA. Grandchildren Lashonda, Jeremiah, James (Regina), Napoleon Jr.(Vicki), Cynthia, Thomas, Albert (Tequila), Theodore, Edward (Lawanda), Ronald, Tunji, Patrick (Terri), Mario (Donna), Janae, Michelle (Shaun), Kevin (Leslie), Dominique (Vario), Twanette (Alex), Lakevia (Dwaun), Jeremy, Sean, Crystal, Toni (Erik), Courtney, Jessica (Adrian), Kaylin; 52 great grandchildren & 32 great-great grandchildren, a special cousin Ola Mae Hart, caregiver Terri, and a host of other family and friends.
