Spencer R. Gaither of Gainesville peacefully passed away August 18, 2018. Preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Charlie and Lourie Gaither. Survived by his biological parents, Cheryl Richardson and Spencer Young; 4 sisters, Deseree Gaither, Latoya Strickland, Felecia Richardson and Katrina Gaither; grandmother, Rosa Young; and other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Upper Room Church of God In Christ, Pastor Karl Anderson, officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Melrose, FL. Viewing Friday at Pinkney-Smith Funeral 727 NW 2nd St. Gainesville, FL, 4:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at the church 30 minutes before service.
