Obituary for Wayne Everett Bowers
Wayne Everett Bowers was born on February 23, 1935 to the late Reverend
Warren Bowers, Sr. and Iva Mew. He was born in Alachua, Florida. He attended school ACT School in Alachua.
Brother Bowers loved gardening and yard work. He had an artistic touch with growing and arranging flower beds. In his younger years, his favorite sport was playing baseball.
He dominated the television set when baseball was on. Oh well, one black television set and no cartoons for those days.
He was preceded in death by his parents - Reverend Warren Bowers, Jr. and Iva Mew - daughter, Dorothy McClellon-Williams - two sisters, Iva Dixon and Edith Williams - nine brothers, Warren Jr., Charlie, Joe, Onles, Nine, Albert, Isadore, Robert Lee, Wilbert and Samuel.
Those left to cherish is loving memory:

Welcome; 31 Grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews; a dedicated deacon, Lawrence Owens and neighbor, "Greek"
