Gainesville - Willie D. Bryant, Sr. born to the late Felton Bryant, Sr. and Rosa L. Durdley Bryant August 26, 1939. He's a retired maintenance technician: Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity at UF, Gainesville Airport, retired custodian at Williams Elementary and Meridian Behavior Healthcare. Willie quietly passed away January 23, 2018 at N. FL Rehab and Specialty Care Center.
Cherishing his memories, Children: Terri Bryant Hymes, D'Eitra Bryant-Brown (Mikeo), Cheryl Smith (Sugar Ray), Willie Jr. & Rudolph Bryant; Daughters preceded in death: Tina Bryant-John & Deborah Spann; 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; Siblings, Calvin, Donnell, Joseph, Robert (Barbara), Ezzard (Gail), Jerry Bryant; Brothers preceded in death: Jerome Bryant-Scott & Felton L. Bryant, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Bartley Temple United Methodist Church, 727 NE 8th Ave., Gainesvsille, FL, Rev. Mary L. Mitchell, Pastor, Rev. R. J. Hines, Sr., Presiding, Bishop Elect Percy C. Days, Jr., Eulogist. Burial will be in Grass Lawn Cemetery. Viewing Friday 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. at PINKNEY-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 727 NW 2nd STREET, GAINESVILLE, FL. Family will receive friends 5 p.m - 7 p.m. Viewing Saturday 30 minutes prior to service at the church. No viewing after eulogy.
