Obituary for Willie James Douglas Sr.
Willie James Douglas 75, of Jacksonville, FL entered the Sunset of Life on Wednesday, November 22,2023 at Haven Hospice in Orange Park. Son of the late Ervin Jenkins Sr. and Annie Donnely was born on Sunday, January 18, 1948. Willie James is a 1966 graduate of Central Academy High School. He was employed with Hudson Pulp & Paper Company (Now Georgia Pacific) for 40 years. Willie enjoyed dancing, fishing and hanging with family in Interlachen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his grandmother, Lillian Roberts, brother, Nathaniel Jenkins Sr, son, Bobby Hope Sr and sister, Shirley Ann Jenkins.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Devoted wife of 45 years, Patricia Douglas; sons, Willie James (Kayleen) Douglas Jr., Kendrick Douglas Sr. and Germaine (Svea) Douglas; daughters, Tieaa Douglas, Angela Douglas, Victoria Johnson, Nikki (Ronald) Chaney; brothers, Tommie (Carolyn) Jenkins Sr, Ervin Jenkins, Sr., Clarence Williams; sisters, Lillian (John) Burton, Christine (Carl) Williams, Deborah Jones, Laverne Brown; devoted sister and brothers-in-law, Bobbie (Arthur) McDuffy, Quinton (Donna) Johnson; devoted niece, Priscilla Jenkins; 27 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
