Carolyn Patricia Turner, 54
Hawthorne - Carolyn passed away July 13, 2017. Born to Lonnie Gordon Sr. and Yvonne Turner, she was a 1981 graduate of Hawthorne High School and retired from Tacachale after 25 years of service. sshe was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was an avid Gotors Fan. and a wonderful cook. Carolyn's greatest gift and joy in life was caring for family and friends. She's survived by 5 siblings, Lonnie (Tishona) Turner, Taylor, MI, Cynthia Sanders, Elnora Turner, Reginald (Christy) Turner, all of Hawthorne, FL and Christopher (Lavern) Turner, Gainesville, FL,; an aunt, Ruby Mae Griffin, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; an uncle, Frank (Deloris) Turner, Gainesville, FL; other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 am Saturday, July 22, 2017 at New Hope United Methodist Church, Hawthorne, FL, Rev. Eugene Herring is Pastor, Rev. Dr. Marie Herring, Presider, Rev. Ida Elmore is Eulogist. Viewing Friday 2 pm - 7 pm at Pinkney-Smith Funeral Home of Hawthorne and Saturday at New Hope United Methodist Church 10:30 - 11 am. No viewing after eulogy.
